Our Story

A Thread That Never Breaks

Devdhaaga was born from a simple belief โ€” that the ancient threads woven by India's artisans should never be forgotten. In 2019, we set out to bridge the weaving villages of Varanasi, Kanchipuram, and Kutch with homes of people who value authenticity.

Today we work with over 2,400 artisans across 28 states, preserving 180+ distinct weave traditions โ€” from the gossamer Jamdani of West Bengal to the vibrant Phulkari of Punjab.

"I gifted a Chanderi dupatta to my mother for Diwali. She was moved to tears โ€” said it reminded her of her grandmother's saree. That's the power of genuine tradition."
